Regular Searches:

Number of searches conducted against a database where results are returned to the user on the host UI. (Note: by default, most searches are conducted on five databases.)

Item Investigations:

Total number of times a "Content Item" or information related to a "Content Item" was accessed.

Statistics are also available directly from the vendor. These stats take some time to completely compile, so ProQuest recommends waiting until the 5th of the month to get accurate usage statistics for the previous month.
